The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link is now officially open for public commute, marking a significant milestone in the city’s transportation landscape. Also referred to as the Atal Setu Bridge, it spans an impressive 21.8 kilometres, with a staggering 16.5 kilometres of it traversing over the Arabian Sea. Behind the grandeur of the Atal Setu Bridge lies an impressive story of hard work, dedication, and meticulous planning. The project employed approximately 17,000 labourers and 1,500 engineers, showcasing the collaborative effort that went into bringing this vision to life. These projects span various sectors, including road and rail connectivity, drinking water, gems and jewellery, and women empowerment. This comprehensive approach reflects the government’s dedication to holistic development and improving the overall quality of life for citizens.
