NPCIL Recruitment of Executive Trainees 2024 through GATE 2022/2023/2024
The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has announced the recruitment of Executive Trainees for the year 2024. The selection process will be based on the valid scores obtained in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022/2023/2024.
Vacancies and Application Process
There are 60 vacancies for the Civil discipline. The online application process commences on 10th April 2024 at 10:00 hrs and closes on 30th April 2024 at 16:00 hrs. Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply online on the dedicated web portal www.npcilcareers.co.in of NPCIL.
Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of Rs.500/- is chargeable only to male applicants belonging to General (UR), EWS, and OBC categories. Female applicants, applicants belonging to SC/ST category, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Dependents of Defence Personnel Killed in Action (DODPKIA), and employees of NPCIL are exempted from payment of the application fee. The payment of the application fee starts from 10th April 2024 (10:00 hrs) and ends on 30th April 2024 (16:00 hrs).
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engineering)/5 year Integrated M Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in civil engineering disciplines from a University/Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE/UGC. Applicants must also have a valid GATE-2022 or GATE-2023 or GATE-2024 Score in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.
Selection Process :
The selection process will comprise of the following:
Shortlisting of candidates for personal interview for the posts of Executive Trainee 2024 will be done in the order of merit drawn on the basis of valid GATE 2022, GATE 2023 and GATE 2024 Scores by applying ratio of 1:12. If there are more than 01 candidate with the same cut off mark (while short listing for interview), then all the candidates with the same mark will be shortlisted for interview.
Candidates obtaining valid GATE 2022, GATE 2023 and GATE 2024 scores shall only be eligible for this recruitment exercise in NPCIL under this advertisement. GATE score of 2021 or of previous GATE examination shall not be entertained.
- ‘Persons with Benchmark Disabilities’ (PwBDs), will be shortlisted separately by applying 1:12 ratio in each category of disability for which vacancies are reserved.
- Discipline and category wise cut off shall be displayed on recruitment web portal of NPCIL. Result of shortlisting for interview shall be made available to candidates under ‘Application Status’ link through individual login on www.npcilcareers.co.in.
- Intimation of interview date/time/venue will be communicated to shortlisted candidates through Email/SMS. Call letter for appearing for interview will be made available for shortlisted candidates in the website for downloading.
- Equal weightage will be given to GATE 2022, GATE 2023 and GATE 2024 Scores.
- Final selection will be done on the basis of performance in the Personal Interview subject to medical fitness.
Training and Placement
Selected candidates will be required to undergo one year of orientation training. After successful completion of training and subsequently during service in NPCIL, the Executive Trainees (ETs) may be posted at any DAE establishment, any location in India or abroad depending on organizational requirement.
Stipend and Bond
During the training period, candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.55,000/-, a one-time book allowance of Rs.18,000/-, and mandatory lodging & boarding in accommodation as provided by NPCIL. Selected candidates are required to execute an agreement, a personal indemnity bond for Rs.6,78,000/- and a service bond to serve NPCIL for at least three years after successful completion of training.
Interview Schedule & Venue
Interviews are scheduled tentatively from 3rd to 15th June 2024. Interviews will be conducted at Anushaktinagar, Mumbai-Maharashtra, Narora Atomic Power Station (NAPS)-Uttar Pradesh, Madras Atomic Power Station (MAPS)-Tamil Nadu, and Kaiga Generating Station (KGS)-Karnataka. Candidates are advised to indicate their preference of venue to appear for the interview in the online application form. However, NPCIL reserves the right to allocate Date/Venue for the interview as it may deem fit.
